Year 6 Forest School session 14th March 2025
Sat 15 Mar 2025Year 6 had a great Forest School session. They learnt some new games, toasted marshmallows on the fire to make smores and made mini Anderson shelters linked to their class topic.

Year 4 science lesson for British Science Week on 11th March 2025
Wed 12 Mar 2025Today Year 4 investigated which items change and breakdown easily in water so can be flushed away. The children began by making predictions then used their observation skills to observe what happened when each item was placed in water and shaken. The children then had to communicate their findings clearly.

Early Years British Science Week lesson 10th March 2025
Tue 11 Mar 2025As part of our British Science Week 2025 work, we put on our scientific thinking caps this morning! We carried out an experiment called 'camouflage caterpillars'! We used different coloured strands of wool and hid them around our outdoor learning areas. We then imagined we were hungry dinosaurs and tried to find all of the caterpillars! We asked the important question 'how does changing the colour of the wool affect how easy they are to find?
