  • St David Celebration Week, week beginning 23rd February 2026

    Mon 02 Mar 2026

We have celebrated St David all week. Welsh flags are decorating school and children have completed lots of special activities. There were two competitions for them to complete at home; writing a poem about Wales and making Welsh cakes.

At school all children took part in a handwriting competition.

We also had a school Eisteddfod and each class performed in front of the school. Also during the Eisteddfod each class showed their ' cynefin' work that they had completed during the week.

Also on Friday the children dressed up in national costume or red, white and green.

To finish off our celebrations, on Monday 2nd March there is a special St David's Day themed lunch.

  • 2nd December Well Being after school club

    Thu 04 Dec 2025

The children are loving Mrs Stubb's well being after school club. This week In Mrs Stubb's Well Being after school club this week, the children talked about ways to help the self-esteem of themselves and others. They played roll-a-compliment, which the children found lots of ways to give each other compliments. The children all made a decorated a mirror so could see their strengths and be proud of themselves. They had some choice time too. Some children chose extreme dot to dot, mazes and even reading their book! Bookworm Mrs Stubbs loved it!
