  Our Digi Leaders met to discuss how to share information about staying safe online. We have decided to lead an assembly about SMART rules. We also discussed creating a monthly newsletter to be sent home for parents.

• Year 3 recorder lesson 24th March 2025

  Blwyddyn 3 have had their third recorder session this today where they have been learning about crotchets and quavers and how to play both A and B notes on their recorder. The children have been doing really well with this and are thoroughly enjoying their lessons.

  This week in art history, after school club we learnt about Charles McGee and looked at his abstract art. We created our own in his style.

  Year 6 had a great Forest School session. They learnt some new games, toasted marshmallows on the fire to make smores and made mini Anderson shelters linked to their class topic.

• Year 4 science lesson for British Science Week on 11th March 2025

  Today Year 4 investigated which items change and breakdown easily in water so can be flushed away. The children began by making predictions then used their observation skills to observe what happened when each item was placed in water and shaken. The children then had to communicate their findings clearly.
