• Mental Health Awareness Week, week beginning 12th May 2025

  This week is Mental Health Awareness Week. Each class will be completing a lesson about mental health/ well being.

• 9th May 2025. Year 1 and 2 first Forest School session

  Sun 11 May 2025

  The first group of Year 1 and 2 pupils had their first Forest School session on Friday. They learnt games, Forest School rules, how to identify hazards, how to light a fire and stay safe around a fire. They also learnt how to toast marshmallows to make smores.

• VE80 day 8th May 2025

  We have had a special day in school today for VE80. Firstly we all dressed in red, white and blue. We decorated the hall and had a special assembly this morning. And this afternoon we had a tea and cake celebration event for senior members of the community.

• Wales Outdoor Learning Week Reception work 2nd May 2025

  It's Wales Outdoor Learning Week. Reception created their sea creatures using natural materials. They looked at all the features their animals had and made sure to include them. Some of the animals included: a shark, an octopus and a jellyfish!
