Wales Outdoor Learning Week, week beginning 28th April. Year 4 work
Wed 30 Apr 2025It's Wales Outdoor Learning Week.Year 4 have begun to look at habitats. The children worked together to build nests using natural materials. The children also learnt about effectiveness of camouflage by finding different coloured pieces of wool 'worms' around the PS3 garden area.

Wed 30 Apr 2025This week is Wales Outdoor Learning Week. Blywddyn 5's outdoor task was a special planetary space mission! They had to be a space explorer who discovered and designed a brand-new planet using natural materials. Year 5 had to think about what makes each planet in our solar system special. Then when outside, find and use materials to represent features of their own planet. We had jungle planet, winter planet, fairy planet and busy planet.

Year 5 and 6 residential trip to Glan Llyn 30th April - 2nd May 2025
Wed 30 Apr 2025Our Year 5 and 6 children have arrived safely at Glan Llyn for the residential trip. They have had a tour and are now having their lunch.

Open the Book assembly 28th April 2025

Year 4 class assembly 11th April 2025
Sat 12 Apr 2025Yesterday Year 4 led their class assembly for their parents teaching them all about the Tudors. It also included a quiz for the parents to complete! Da iawn Blwyddyn 4!

Year 6 World War two themed day 11th April 2025
Sat 12 Apr 2025Year 6 had a World War Two theme day. They made a wartime recipe: Apple Charlotte, sent messages secretly from behind enemy lines, built an air raid shelter, took part in WW2 themed role play and learned a WW2 themed dance.

Art after school club 8th April 2025
Thu 10 Apr 2025Our Art after school club had their last session this week. They learnt about Bridget Riley and drew optical illusion art.

Year 1 to 3 trip to Park in the Past 9th April 2025
Thu 10 Apr 2025Year 1, 2 and 3 visited a Roman Fort today at Park in the Past. They had a brilliant time learning all about Roman life. The children were greeted by two Roman soldiers who talked to them about life at the fort. The children dressed up in armour and had a go at battle formations. They helped repair the Roman road and had training for spear throwing. All the children thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Da iawn pawb.

Year 3 recorder lesson 7th April 2025
Mon 07 Apr 2025In their recorder lesson today year 3 have been learning how to sing and sign somewhere over the rainbow, the children were really engaged with this. They have also been learning hot cross buns on the recorder.
