  Well done to our Head and Deputy pupils who represented Penarlag School by attending Hawarden Remembrance service this morning and laid a wreath on behalf of school ( photos to follow).

  Thank you to Open the Book who led collective worship on Tuesday telling the bible story ' The Great Banquet'. Da iawn to the Blwyddyn 6 pupils who took part.

• Harvest Food donations and Flintshire Food Bank October 2025

  Thank you to everyone who donated food to our Harvest Food Collection. We collected 41kg of food which was taken to Flintshire Foodbank today. Diolch pawb!

• Our Work Awareness Week, week beginning 20th October 2025

  This week is our Work Awareness Week. Children will be learning about different jobs and we have many visitors coming into school to talk to children about their jobs. Further details and photos are in the ' Special Events ' section of this website under the heading ' News and Events'.

• Friend's of Penarlag (FOP's_ Dig Day Saturday 18th October 2025

  Thank you to FOPs for organising our annual Dig Day. Lots of jobs were completed in our school grounds: leaf collecting, planting bulbs and bark chippings around our adventure trail.

  Lovely cakes were made by our volunteers as well. These were really well received by everyone!
