Year 6 final Forest School session 4th April 2025
Sun 06 Apr 2025Year 6 had their final Forest School session on Friday and four parents attended too. They toasted marshmallows over the fire, played games and made shelters. It was a great afternoon!

Penarlag School and Hawarden Singers concert Thursday 3rd April 2025
Sun 06 Apr 2025We were delighted to have a 80 years from VE day concert with Hawarden Singers and also have Lord and Lady Barry Jones attend, as well as many members of the community. It was a very special evening.

Year 3 recorder lessons 31st March 2025
Wed 02 Apr 2025In their recorder lessons this week Year 3 learnt the 'G' note and have started learning to play hot cross buns ready for Easter.

Fri 28 Mar 2025Our Digi Leaders met to discuss how to share information about staying safe online. We have decided to lead an assembly about SMART rules. We also discussed creating a monthly newsletter to be sent home for parents.

Year 3 recorder lesson 24th March 2025
Wed 26 Mar 2025Blwyddyn 3 have had their third recorder session this today where they have been learning about crotchets and quavers and how to play both A and B notes on their recorder. The children have been doing really well with this and are thoroughly enjoying their lessons.

After school art club 25th March 2025
Wed 26 Mar 2025This week in art history, after school club we learnt about Charles McGee and looked at his abstract art. We created our own in his style.

Chester Duck Race 5th April 2025
Tue 25 Mar 2025We have a duck to take part in Chester Duck Race on 5th April! We held a competition for children to design the decorations for our duck. Go to special events under the heading news and events on this website to see our winner decorating our duck!
