Final after school language club session 6th March 2025
Sat 08 Mar 2025Our after school languages club had their last session on Thursday. They tried some French food and also used the French phrases they have been learning! Da iawn pawb!

Group 1 Year 6 final Forest School session 6th March 2025
Sat 08 Mar 2025The Year 6's had their last session today. Parents were invited too. The parents joined in with playing games, learning about fire lighting, toasting marshmallows to make smores and building shelters.

World Book Day 6th March 2025
Sat 08 Mar 2025We had a great day celebrating World Book Day. Children and staff came dressed up as a book character or in their pyjamas ready for a bedtime story. Each class completed activities linked to World Book Day including watching a live lesson, completing a book quiz, making book marks and Year 5 read stories to our Reception pupils. Da iawn pawb!

Friend's of Penarlag donation to school March 2025
Wed 05 Mar 2025Thank you to Friend's of Penarlag ( FOP's) who have raised £3000 for school. £500 will be given to each class teacher to purchase resources for the class. Watch this space for photos of the resources purchased.

First session of our lunchtime singing club 4th March 2025
Wed 05 Mar 2025Our lunchtime singing club has started. The children are learning songs in preparation for their concert with Hawarden Singers at the beginning of April.

Year 5 live STEM lesson 4th March 2025
Wed 05 Mar 2025In preparation for their topic next term, Blwyddyn 5 took part in a live STEM ( Science,Technology, Engineering and Maths) lesson ' To the Moon and Mars' which focussed on space and space travel ( photos are in special events section under news and events heading on this website)

Year 6 Forest School session 21st February 2025
Sat 22 Feb 2025Year 6 had a great Forest School session today. They worked in small groups to make a mini 'fairy' fire and toasted marshmallows to make smores and also toasted crumpets. They showed excellent teamwork skills and perseverance.

World Thinking / Founders Day 20th February 2025
Wed 19 Feb 2025To celebrate World Thinking / Founders day ( 22nd February) all pupils who are part of Scouting and Guiding can wear their uniforms to school tomorrow, Thursday 20th February.
