Work awareness week Monday 21st October 2024
Mon 21 Oct 2024For the start of work awareness Blwyddyn 5 have had two talks today from Ms Blackwell who shared her experience working as a Neuropsychologist and her knowledge of the human brain, followed by Mr Baker who told us all about cyber security. The class enjoyed both talks and asked lots of valuable questions.

Work Awareness Week, week beginning 21st October 2024
Mon 21 Oct 2024This week is our Work Awareness Week and pupils are learning about lots of different jobs. We also have many visitors coming into classes to talk about their jobs. These visitors include former pupils, parents, staff members ,Governors and members of the community.

Friends of Penarlag Digging Day Saturday 19th October 2024
Sun 20 Oct 2024We had a great digging day completing lots of jobs in the school grounds- leaf collecting, bulb and tree planting, weeding. We had staff, parents, children , governors, prospective parents and children and members of the community attending. Thank you to everyone who attended.

Spectrwm lessons with Early years week beginning 14th October 2024
Sat 19 Oct 2024Spectrwm have led sessions with Nursery and Reception this week. They were introduced to spectrwm Ted and discussed three different topics; gender roles, recognising emotions and people who help us.

Tae Kwan Do demonstration 14th October 2024
Tue 15 Oct 2024Thank you to Darren Richardson who came to lead an assembly to demonstrate Tae Kwan Do. The children loved joining in too!

Year 4 Forest School session 11th October 2024
Sat 12 Oct 2024The Year 4's had a great session in the sunshine. They played new games, collected wood for the fire, toasted marshmallows to make smores and tried toasting sandwiches in the sunshine. Photos are in the special events section of this website, under the heading 'News and Events'.

World Mental Health Day 10th October 2024
Thu 10 Oct 2024Today is World Mental Health Day. In assembly we talked about the Five ways to Well Being and during the day each class have had a lesson on mental health/well being.
