We have a before and after school club and a holiday club. Please find details of these in the community section.
After school clubs for 2024-2025
The feedback from pupils and parents in our end of year questionnaires was that more after schools would be beneficial. So we are delighted to be able to offer a range of six week long clubs for children throughout this academic year:

Art after school club March 2025:
Week 1: Tuesday 4th March 2025:
Our after school art club started yesterday, led by Mrs Davies and Mrs Hamilton. The children learned about Picasso and created art work in his style. Da iawn pawb!
Week 2 Tuesday 11th March 2025:
In art after school club the children learnt about Vincent Van Gogh and created artwork using sketching pencils in his style. Next week we will be using water colours. Da iawn pawb!
Week 3 25th March 2025:
This week in art history, after school club we learnt about Charles McGee and looked at his abstract art. We created our own in his style.
Final art after school club session 8th April 2025:
Our Art after school club had their last session this week. They learnt about Bridget Riley and drew optical illusion art.
Languages club February to March 2025:
Our after school languages club had their last session on Thursday. They tried some French food and also used the French phrases they have been learning! Da iawn pawb!
Lunchtime singing club, March 2025:
Our lunchtime singing club has started. The children are learning songs in preparation for their concert with Hawarden Singers at the beginning of April.
Art club March 2025:

Cookery club 17th February 2025:
Our after school cookery club had their last session yesterday and made chocolate crispy cakes. Da iawn pawb!
Cookery after school club 10th February 2025:
Making sandwiches and writing their recipe book:
Cookery club 13th January 2025, week 1.
The children made fruit smoothies and also started writing their own cookery book!
Coding club Autumn Term:
Week 1:
The children have had a go at using the Lego Spike and have also used MakeCode to create their own platform games.
Coding Club week 2 12th November 2024:
The children used coding to create an animation linked to anti bullying week.
Well being club Autumn 2024:
Week 1:
The children completed a range of activities and went home with their own goody bag!
Well being club,week 2 12th November 2024:
The children completed lots of new activities, one involved going round the school grounds and another involved Skittles! Great fun was had by all!
